| David J. Lee, M.D. General Surgery Bariatrics Program Director |
Dr. Lee attained his medical training in Indiana and Kentucky, beginning with a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude from Notre Dame in 1992. He then attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine, attaining his M.D. in 1996. He performed his Surgery Residency at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis from 1997–2001.
During his post surgical training at Indiana University, Dr. Lee received the prestigious Leonard Ensminger Award for Trauma Research in 1999. He was also the recipient of the 1993 Medical Student Research Award from the University of Louisville. Dr. Lee has been certified by the American Board of Surgery (2002).
